The Human Resources (HR) Guide and Tool Kit has many documents, policies and supporting templates, aimed at improving the level of human resources management within the sport and recreation industry in Western Australia.
Part of the HR Tool Kit is the Sport and Recreation Human Resources Guide. The guide provides a reference for the effective management of human resources within sport and recreation organisations.
The degree of implementation of the guide and broader tool kit will vary depending on the individual needs and capacity of each organisation. Some may choose to select certain policies and processes based on their own priorities.
The documents forming the tool kit were developed by Apex Consulting in collaboration with the department. The guide has been reviewed and redesigned in 2018.
