What is a widget?
Generally a widget is a small application that displays content from the internet. The DSR widget displays and rotates through a list of news items from various websites. You can click on the news item on the widget and be redirected to the story.
What news is available?
The DSR Widget offers news from a variety of sources including major sports associations, sports media and DSR. You can configure your widget to display feeds you want.
Why have a widget on my computer?
The widget is a great way to see the latest news that you are interested in without having to visit numerous websites. Simply click on a headline if you want to read the whole article.
Dowload the DSR widget
For Windows users
- Click the link below to download the file.
- Select "Save" and save the zipped file to your desktop.
- Unzip the file by double clicking it.
- Select and copy the files onto your computer including both DSR Widget.exe and config.xml. You may want to save them on your desktop or My Documents folder. You need both files for the widget to work.
- When both files are on your computer in your preferred location, double click the DSR Widget.exe file to open the widget. You can then delete the zipped file.
For Mac users
- Download the file below. This usually downloads on your desktop.
- Unzip the file by double clicking it.
- Double click the DSR Widget file to open the widget. You can then delete the zipped file.
