Held in Mingenew in the North Midlands area of Mid West Western Australia, the Department of Sport and Recreation-organised workshop was delivered by Danni Bloomfield from Department of Commerce.

The workshop covered incorporation and provided tips on how clubs and associations can run effectively.

"It is very important that clubs and associations run effectively with good governance," said DSR Mid West Manager Richard Malacari. "We want to support the clubs and associations that offer sport and recreation opportunities to people in our local communities and make the lives of the volunteers that run them easier.

"In this, its second workshop conducted for local sporting groups on behalf of the Department of Sport and Recreation, the Department of Commerce provided some great assistance and resources which will benefit sport in our region."
