23-year-old professional opera singer and gold-medal winning croquet player

Fleauranne Brockway commenced playing croquet in 2007 and first represented Western Australia in the State team in 2012 where she was the runner-up in the Australian Women’s Singles.

She has been a member of the WA Opera since 2013 and has performed with the Victoria Opera and Queensland Symphony. Currently, she is one of the Westfarmers Young Artists.

In 2017 Fleauranne had to fly to Broome mid-tournament to perform a recital, after which she flew back to Brisbane to play in the final match against Victoria, where the team won gold and claimed the Interstate Shield.

Four generations playing soccer together

John Castrilli is Club President, Treasurer and Head Coach of the Morley Windmills Soccer Club and has been a part of the team for 30 years.

He first began playing when he was 12 years old and since then has been an integral part of the Windmills community as a player, coach and club member.

John’s dad has played for the same club and now his sons and grandsons are part of the family oriented Windmills – four generations enjoying playing sport together.

High Flyers help young gymnast be his best

High Flyers Trampoline and Gymnastics participants

Jacob Sim is an autistic athlete who has been training at High Flyers Trampoline and Gymnastics Academy for five years.

Originally, Jacob participated in one-on-one classes, but due to his dedication, he has now progressed to main stream classes.

His fantastic progress has helped him to find the confidence to compete in a local competition and it has also helped him greatly improve his academic work.

Well done to all his coaches for helping Jacob achieve his goals.
