The ball is in your court Mandurah
Mandurah's 2010 Indigenous Grassroots Netball Program is for 8–17 year olds wanting to develop their skills and play netball on a weekly basis. Volunteers interested in developing their coaching or umpiring skills are also invited to participate in this educational program.
All players and coaches involved in this Grassroots Netball Program are eligible for selection in the teams representing the program at the Gala Day Carnival held on the 2 May 2010, the Netball WA Smarter than Smoking Association Carnival to be held on the 5–7 June 2010 and the NAIDOC Carnival on 7 July 2010.
Selection of athletes will be based on maximum attendance in the program.
The Mandurah Grassroots Program will be held at the Mandurah Netball Association (Rushton Park) on the following dates between 4.30pm and 6.00pm:
Wed 5 May 4.30–6.00pm Training session
Wed 12 May 4.30–6.00pm Training session
Wed 19 May 4.30–6.00pm Training session & selection of association team
Wed 26 May 4.30–6.00pm Association team training session – Specialist session (Netball WA Coach)
Sat 5–Mon 7 June Netball WA STS Association Carnival at Perth Netball Association
Wed 9 June 4.30–6.00pm Break
Wed 16 June 4.30–6.00pm Training session and selection of NAIDOC team
Wed 23 June 4.30–6.00pm NAIDOC team training session
Tues 30 June 4.30–6.00pm NAIDOC team training session
Wed 7 July NAIDOC Carnival at Southern Districts Netball Association
