ActiveSmart hits the ground running

Sport and Recreation Minister Terry Waldron visited Geraldton on 29 June to promote ActiveSmart – a world-first project that is setting a challenge for the entire Geraldton-Greenough community to become more physically active.

Cool change for Tom Price

On an overcast day of 19 degrees in the Pilbara, the community of Tom Price welcomed another cool change – its new pool. The official opening by Irene, wife of the late Vic Hayton whom the pool has been named after, took place on Friday 6 May 2011.
