Mandurah boating enthusiasts get on board tradition

Mandurah has for many years adopted the Blessing of the Fleet tradition, and this year the event will provide power boaties and sailors the opportunity to ‘dress their boat’ and pass by the ‘Spirit of Mandurah’, moored alongside Town Jetty, to be blessed by Father Jay of Our Lady’s Assumption Catholic Parish.

The Leisure Institute of Western Australia (LIWA) Aquatics, Department Sport and Recreation, Royal Life Saving Society WA and the City of Bunbury recently invited aquatic managers and shire staff across the South West to the 15th Annual Country Pool Managers Aquatics Seminar.

Peel Hockey proudly played host to hockey players from India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia and around 1000 spectators over three nights at the Halls Head Pharmacy Stadium from 14–18 October.
