Camp Quaranup is ideally situated in a nature reserve on the Princess Royal Harbour with panoramic views across to the City of Albany.
The Department operates Camp Quaranup and it looks like being a wonderful year ahead for this Albany-based adventure camp. Visiting Camp Quaranup not only provides the opportunity to stay in unique heritage accommodation, it also provides the perfect launch-pad for school groups exploring the natural wonders of Torndirrup National Park, an array of regional-based excursions within the Great Southern and not to mention the friendly hospitality of the team at Camp Q!
It’s important that this continues to be available to the entire community.
While the accommodation is predominantly dormitory style, there are two smaller buildings which are ideal for groups of families looking for the weekend that restores the connection to nature and a simpler life.
Our onsite Manager Ian Sprigg and the team are offering a range of adventure program options in 2014. Some of these may be seasonal or to compliment holiday camp programs.
If you’ve never been to Albany or Quaranup, now is the time.
