Camp Quaranup Community Open Day

Saturday, 14th October 2017 will see Camp Quaranup (Albany, WA) opening the doors to the community as part of Outdoors October.

Update: Please be aware that the ferry service is at capacity between 10 am and 1 pm. Parking at the camp is also full. Additional bus services departing from the Marina will complement transfers to and from the site. Thank you for your understanding.

Event overview 

Experience canoeing on the harbour, hitting archery targets or getting active exploring our stunning grounds and learning some history about the former Quarantine Station as part of Outdoors October.


Our chef will be serving delicious food throughout the day including a sausage sizzle and devonshire tea for a gold coin cost.

A coffee van and ice cream vendor will also be on site to tempt your taste buds.

You are welcome to BYO picnic.

This is an alcohol and smoke free event.

Getting there

A $2 return ferry service will be available on the day departing Albany Marina, leaving every 1/2 hour. We will be posting a schedule closer to the event.

If driving, turn off Frenchman Bay Road, left down Quaranup road to the camp entrance. Please watch for cyclists and Albany Trail Event runners.

There will be limited parking available at the camp. Priority will be given to ACROD permit holders and can be arranged by calling 08 9844 4087.
