Bassendean local, Matt Brazier, is busy showing the state his skateboarding talents aren’t just for show. Matt, aged 19, has competed in two rounds of the YMCA HQ’s Summer Skate Series and has placed in the top two in the Open Division at both competitions. His talents in the Series have won him prizes from Folklore Skateboards and Bossen.

Kingsley local, Nathan Arias, is an accomplished skateboarder at only 13 years of age. Nathan has been skating for three years and has already secured sponsorship through Beyond Skate. On Saturday 19th of December Nathan competed in a qualifying round of the YMCA HQ’s Summer Skate Series in Leederville.
