The Chill Pro Junior came to an exciting end on Sunday 6 June 2010 at Trigg Point in WA, with Perth’s premier surf location delivering clean 1–2 feet swell, for what was a perfect day of finals with light offshore winds and sunny skies bringing people from far and wide to see the action unfold. The event was proudly supported by the Department of Sport and Recreation.

A team from the Department of Sport and Recreation took part in a recreational AFL football match against the Edmund Rice Centre Lions at Coolbinia Reserve on Monday 31 May, as part of the Lions’ preparations for its ‘Big Match’ against the Eastern Hills Hawks in June.
