Trails sign post.Almost a year has passed, and during May 2010 the new Yeerakine Rock Trail was put to the test and had its first big event, where 20 horses and walking groups enjoyed the trail.

Rebecca Meikle from the shire said there has been a lot of positive feedback and that the Yeerakine Rock Trail helps with tourism, as it encourages drivers to stop in the town and go for a walk, instead of just driving straight through.

The trail, which caters for walkers and horse riders, has been well received by the town and Rebecca says will help bring the community together.
