The Great Aussie Campout will bring together thousands of
Australians for one big night on 17 April 2010, where they will share the
experience of camping out under the stars...in their backyards, on a river
bank, in a camp, a National Park, a caravan park – in fact anywhere they might
feel like.

The Department of Sport and Recreation is proud to support GACO and is opening the Ern Halliday Recreation Camp as an Official Site.
Experience our 'Sanctuary
in the Suburbs' and come pitch your tent in our grassy grounds.
Recreation options will be provided including Flying Fox, Archery, Rock
Climbing and Kite Making.
A $10 per person camping fee applies.
All campers must register prior to event day directly with the Ern Halliday Camp.
