Situated at the front of the camp near the ‘old' Isolation Hospital, the Jervoise Dormitory provides clients with a private area with no other accommodation areas around, and is one of only two self-catering areas on site.
It has the
advantage of having its own grassed area and a large fire-pit for use during
non-fire ban seasons. All groups must advise staff prior to utilising the fire
pit.
The facility consists of four identical rooms and can sleep up to 32 people in total. Each of the four dorm rooms contains four bunk beds sleeping eight each. There are two toilets and shower blocks located at each end of the dormitory. Bookings for the Jervoise Dormitory must be for a minimum of two nights, although one-night bookings may be approved by the camp manager under certain conditions.
Jervoise also has a meeting and dining hall located in the middle of the four dorm rooms with enough tables and chairs for 32 people. The Jervoise area is available for self-catering and incurs an extra cost per person per night. Alternatively, you can also utilise our on-site catering company, Accolade Catering. The kitchen contains two large fridges, two large ovens (with stove tops), a microwave, pots, and pans, cooking and eating utensils and enough crockery for 32 people. There is also a boiling-water dispenser for coffee and tea (BYO).
