As part of the Safe Clubs 4 Kids project, you are invited to attend a forum to explore how to create safe environments for children.
This forum provides an opportunity for the sport and active recreation industry to hear from guest speakers and to participate in an interactive panel discussion, covering the following areas:
- How to create safe environments for children in sport and active recreation.
- How to implement and comply with the Working with Children Legislation, including recent amendments.
- How to respond to a report or suspicion of inappropriate or illegal behavior Highlight resources and support available to you.
Panel representatives include: the WA Police, the Working with Children Screening Unit, Child FIRST, a state sport association and a club representative.
