This forum provides an opportunity for the sport and active recreation industry to hear from guest speakers and to participate in an interactive panel discussion, covering the following areas:

  • How to create safe environments for children in sport and active recreation.
  • How to implement and comply with the Working with Children Legislation, including recent amendments.
  • How to respond to a report or suspicion of inappropriate or illegal behavior Highlight resources and support available to you.

Panel representatives include: the WA Police, the Working with Children Screening Unit, Child FIRST, a state sport association and a club representative.
