George Leathley

George's voluntary service includes from 1961-2009 has included Interchange steward, Club Statistician, Club auditor, Committee member, Secretary, Treasurer and Vice President.

Volunteering Highlights: Receiving life membership in 1978 and being recognised for his voluntary services by the WA Football Commission in 1990.

George was nominated for the RAC Volunteer of the Year award in 2008, representing the Perth Demon District Football Club.

Club and Volunteering Challenges: Updating and promoting the clubs constitution, as the constitution heavily influences the way in which the club is managed.
