Funding for clubs

The Department, through grants and scholarships, provides funding to organisations which facilitate sport and active recreation.

Funding is important to support the industry and provide active opportunities for every Western Australian. There are a wide range of avenues to obtain funding.

KidSport

Helping WA children to participate in community sport and recreation, no matter their financial circumstances.

Club facilities

The Department provides financial assistance to community groups and local government authorities to develop basic infrastructure for sport and recreation.

Regional Athlete Travel Subsidy

The subsidy provides funding assistance to Western Australian Athletes who aspire to reach their full sporting potential.

Club Development Officers

The CDO's role is to support sport and recreation clubs to become sustainable organisations.
