Duty Statement
The Department of Sport and Recreation is responsible for providing assistance with the following aspects of the Sportsfun program:
Leader training
- The Department will provide a Sportsfun Manual online, or hard copy if needed, to each Secondary Coordinator to assist with Leader training (See Sportsfun Training Programs); and
- The Department will provide the opportunity for Coordinators to register as a Level 1 Coaching General Principles and/or Officiating General Principles Presenter, to enable accreditation of Year 11/12’s with Level 1 Coaching General Principles.
Resources
- The Department of Sport and Recreation will provide:
- Sportsfun Level 0 Online Operations Manual;
- Hats and whistles;
- Any extra information/resources online, including certificates and handouts; and
- DVDs for General Principles Coaching and Officiating Courses

Consultation
- The Department will provide ongoing advice and support to assist with the planning and maintenance of the program.
