In March 2010 the triennial sporting event South West Games will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. Read on to find out how you and your club members can participate.

The competition takes place from Friday 19 March to Sunday 28 March 2010 (with the exception of some sports).
Check out your sport under the 'Sport & Events' tab of the website.
Please note the change in rules for the South West Games:
- Participants can be of any age, or any sporting/gaming ability, and come from anywhere.
- Competitors from different shires and regions may take part as composite teams, and will be eligible for medals.
- However, only individual competitors and teams from each of the 17 South West local government shires will be eligible to win the trophies and shields.
- Therefore for the best chance of winning the South West Games shields or trophies, teams should consist of players from the same shire.
- The South West Games 2010 will also be open to all competitors from outside the South West region.
