Coaching Advisory Group
In 2009 the Coaching Advisory Group was developed. The panel consists of up to 12 members who are appointed for three-year terms and represent a wide cross section of sports, including team, individual and high and low-profile sports.
The purpose of the Coaching Advisory Group is to act as an advisory group for DSR to develop strategies and initiatives to educate, train, recruit, recognise and promote coaches at all levels within Western Australia.
Some of the key areas/projects that the panel will be looking at in 2010 include:

- Resources
- Advocacy and Promotion of Coaches
- Community level Coaches
