TAE40110
is an essential qualification for those who train or assess in the
vocational education and training sector. This nationally recognised
qualification is valuable for people seeking to deliver or assess
competency based training.
This four-day course includes:
Cluster 1: Learning Program Design
- Design and develop learning programs (core)
- Use training packages and accredited courses to meet client needs (core)
Cluster 2: Assessor Training
- Plan assessment activities and processes (core)
- Assess competence (core)
- Participate in assessment validation (core)
- Contribute to assessment (elective)
- Design and develop assessment tools (elective)
Cluster 3: Delivery and Facilitation
- Plan, organise and deliver group-based learning (core)
- Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace (core)
- Make a presentation (elective)
Plus some practical, self-paced, post-course assessment tasks.
Australian Institute of Workforce Development (AIWD)
The AIWD is a Registered Training Organisation specialising in the delivery of TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. AIWD’s lead trainer Mike McLaughlin has been delivering sport and recreation industry contextualised training and assessment programs since early 2004.
