Bringing trails together
The 2010 WA State Trails Conference was held on 17 June 2010 at the iconic Perth Zoo and attracted record numbers, with over 110 attendees.

A great day was had by all, with the opportunity to listen to a range of speakers from the trail industry, and the chance to network with people from over 40 different trail/recreation bodies.
The theme of the day was ‘bringing trails together’ with a focus on where we’ve come from, and what lies ahead for the trails industry.
Highlights included a remarkable story from Dr Noel Nannup about the opportunity for trails to connect with Indigenous people and their heritage.
Nic Bowman from International Mountain Biking Association Australia delivered a presentation on a range of wonderful trail achievements and innovations from around the world.
91.4 per cent of delegates rated the conference organisation as very good or excellent.
