Active Transportation workshop
On Thursday 7 April, an Active Transportation workshop was presented by Canadian guest speaker Michael Haynes, the Director of TransActive Solutions, a company dedicated to improving the walkability and cyclability of Canadian communities.

Attendees heard about Michael's experiences
with developing active transport policy at a local level including how to gain
real commitment, advocate and make it work. Michael also took attendees for a
stroll through Leederville to take a practical look at the walkability and
bikeability of a local government area.
