41st Annual Mid West Sports Awards
Nominations are open to recognise local Mid West athletes for their excellent achievements and volunteers for their outstanding efforts.

The 41st Annual Mid West Sports Awards is a prestigious event commending outstanding local athletes and volunteers in various categories.
The award categories are:
- Crothers Family – Senior Sports Star of the Year
- Karara Mining Ltd – Junior Sports Star of the Year
- Geraldton Greenough Financial Services – Team of the Year
- Sportfirst – Coach of the Year
- Young Motors – Administrator of the Year
- Ian Blayney MLA – Official of the Year
- Grant Woodhams MLA – Atlas Inclusion Award
- Brian “Putter” Smith – Sports Personality of the Year
- Mid West Sports Federation – Mid West Hall of Fame
- Jason Simpson Memorial – Senior Aboriginal Sports Star of the Year
- Sports Power Geraldton – Junior Aboriginal Sports Star of the Year
Nominations close on 23 October and can be submitted by filling out a nomination from and emailing it to Lynette.Godlonton@dsr.wa.gov.au or dropping it into the Geraldton Guardian office or the Department of Sport and Recreation office.
