Sport and recreation organisations in training
The Certificate IV – Workplace Training and Assessment course was conducted by McLaughlin Consultancy at the Department of Sport and Recreation's metropolitan office on 6–9 October 2009.

The course was attended by 15 participants from a range of sport and recreation organisations.
Topics included facilitating work-based, group and individual learning and developing assessment tools to enable assessment of competence.
The Certificate IV – Workplace Training and Assessment is an essential qualification for those who train and/or assess in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, or for those working outside of the VET sector.
The course gives participants the competence to deliver and assess competency-based training in their industry.
