Network group
The Healthy Active Workplaces Network has been created as part of the Department of Sport and Recreation’s new Healthy Active Workplaces initiative.
We are working to implement a range of strategies that will encourage and support workplaces to provide opportunities for employees to live healthy, active lifestyles.
Are you:
- A manager or director with an interest in the health and wellbeing of your employees?
- Involved in implementing a workplace health or physical activity program in your workplace?
- A staff member looking for more information about how to start a workplace health and physical activity program in your workplace?
- Involved in delivering corporate health services?
- Interested in innovative ways to improve productivity, motivation and attraction and retention of staff in the workplace?
- A health professional or practitioner interested in health and physical activity in adults, specifically, the workplace setting?
This network provides an opportunity for members to:
- share knowledge and experiences
- keep updated with current issues and research
- post questions or discussion topics
- be notified of upcoming events
By being a part of this network you are accessing a wealth of knowledge provided by our members.
As a member you are invited to share your knowledge, experiences, post discussion topics and ask questions.
Members are encouraged to respond to questions posted and provide comments and advice where possible.
