Service Provider Workshop
In July 2007, corporate health service providers were invited to a workshop at the Department of Sport and Recreation to put forward ideas about how they could be involved with our Healthy Active Workplaces Initiative and how, working with the department, the service provider industry can progress as a whole.
The workshop consisted of an overview of the department's Healthy Active Workplaces Initiative and a workshop allowing service providers to create strategies to develop and establish best practice.
Topics included industry practices, challenges and future directions and further developing the service provider industry.
It also provided an opportunity to:
- network with other corporate health service providers
- provide direction for DSR to enhance the corporate health service provider industry
- provide an opportunity for corporate health service providers to assist DSR to progress the Healthy Active Workplaces Initiative.
