Promoting workplace health and well-being represents not only good business sense for all employers but it represents also a major pathway for enhancing health and well-being for all employees.
These one-day seminars enabled participants to implement a comprehensive program tailored to the specific demands of their organisation. It also provided delegates with simple tools for demonstrating the value to their organisation.
The training workshops were delivered by Len Almond who was a keynote presenter at the Active 07 Conference. Len Almond is the Founding Director of the British Heart Foundation National Centre for Physical Activity and Health and is now the Director of Step into Health Ltd. Len also acts as a Senior Adviser to the British Heart Foundation on Physical Activity and Health and is the BHF adviser to National Workplace Pilots Well @ Work. In addition Len is also a Senior Adviser to Sport England on Physical Activity and Health.
