WA Disabled Sports Association
WA Disabled Sports Association (WADSA) is an umbrella organisation for disabled sport and recreation in Western Australia and has over 30 member clubs. WADSA's vision is that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to participate in sport, recreation and physical activity as their able bodied peers, at a level that is appropriate for their ability and in a manner of their choosing. Inclusion WA provides information and support to people with disabilities who want to become involved in community recreation and sport. Their mission is to improve quality of life for people with a disability, through participation in recreation and sport and they also provide training to people involved in recreation and sport to give them strategies on how to value and include people with disabilities. Inclusion WA is a member of AUSRAPID.

Wheelchair Sports WA Association
The Wheelchair Sports WA Association (Inc.) is responsible for the management of all functions pertaining to wheelchair sport in Western Australia. Our athletes compete in state, national and international competition in 10 sports. The association also runs events, training and competitions for wheelchair sports members, to assist athletes be the best they can be.
You don’t have to be in a wheelchair to play wheelchair sport. The association’s members are made up of people whose lives have, in some way, been touched by physical disability or by any condition that impairs coordination and mobility. These include those persons who have been impaired due to spinal injury, amputation, Cerebral Palsy and Spina Bifida.

Australia Paralympic Committee
The Australian Paralympic Committee (APC) is the national body responsible for Australia’s elite athletes with a disability. The APC is solely responsible for selecting, assembling and managing the Australian Paralympic summer and winter teams for the Paralympic Games.

Australian Athlete with a Disability
Australian Athletes with a Disability is responsible for the administration of three national sports organisations for the disabled:
- Australian Sports Organisation for the Disabled.
- Cerebral Palsy Sports and Recreation Federation of Australia.
- Wheelchair Sports Australia.
All three organisations develop sport for athletes with a disability and administer, promote and coordinate sporting opportunities.

AUSRAPID
AUSRAPID Incorporated is a national organisation established in 1986 to increase the sporting and recreational opportunities for all people with an integration disability within Australia. AUSRAPID views integration to be the inclusion of persons with an intellectual disability into the activities of generic sporting and recreational bodies at a level denoted by the ability and choice of each individual, i.e. participating in grades, divisions or activities that are age and ability appropriate. The AUSRAPID member association in Western Australia is Inclusion WA.

Special Olympics
Special Olympics is a worldwide organisation dedicated to empowering individuals with an intellectual disability to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Electric Wheelchair Sports
Electric Wheelchair Sports is run from Rocky Bay. Sport is seen as an integral part of life at Rocky Bay. The Electric Wheelchair Sports program coordinates the following sports – hockey, touch rugby and balloon soccer.

The Association of the Blind
The Association for the Blind of WA is the principal provider of services to more than 25,000 West Australians who are blind or vision impaired. The Association for the Blind has a Sports Academy and Recreation Centre which incorporate a fully equipped gymnasium and facilities for sporting games and recreation activities.

Sailability
Sailability operates in conjunction with Royal Perth Yacht Club. Sailability WA offers all people the opportunity to sail regardless of their level of ability, skill or personal circumstances. The program is run by an operational committee, a coordinator and a large group of safety trained volunteers interested in sharing their love of sailing with people with disabilities.
