Thanks, Coach/Thanks, Official Campaign
Coaches and officials are the lifeblood of Australian sport, they contribute their valuable time, effort and expertise to help participants enjoy their sport and develop their skills.
The Department of Sport and Recreation has produced 'Thanks Official' and 'Thanks Coach' certificates, available from DSR in both hard and electronic copies.
There are lots of great ways you can use these certificates to say ‘thank you' to your officials and coaches!
- During season competition - achieving a goal, umpiring a great match, conducting a good training session
- End of the season - recognising finals umpires and coaches, most improved coach or umpire for the year, junior umpire/coach of the year for your club
- State championships or club events/competitions - recognising participation and achievements, umpiring or coaching finals

The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) has created The Club Recognition Kit which includes certificates, awards and ideas for retaining all types of volunteers.
