It's cool in Cue: Shire opens active water playground
The Shire of Cue celebrated Australia Day with a splash by opening its new active water playground.
17 February 2009
This fantastic new community facility is an exciting and 'cool' initiative for Cue, and was constructed with the help of a Department of Sport and Recreation 2008/09 Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) grant of $92,891.
Constructed as an alternative to a swimming pool, the facility brings a water-based recreational opportunity for the people of Cue to enjoy.
Its location adjacent to the shire offices, police station, primary school, existing basketball, tennis and netball courts and the town hall, means the water playground is ideally positioned to create strong links with other community facilities and services.
Don't lose your cool in Cue – make sure you check out this fantastic new facility on your next visit!
