To determine the most appropriate and sustainable facility option and plan for it’s eventual development, or, in the case of an existing stadium appropriate redevelopment

Determination of the most appropriate and sustainable facility option(s):

To meet the long-term needs (30 years) of AFL and Cricket as well as Rugby and Soccer
Which is (are) of equal / better standard and capacity to other national stadiums so as to enable Perth to compete for major national and international events (e.g. Bledisloe Cup etc.)
With a range of facilities and services to meet the current and future needs of club members, corporates and the general public, and
Of iconic status which is (are) nationally/internationally recognised as an outstanding sporting arena(s) and engenders local pride and enthusiasm
