Determination of the most appropriate and sustainable facility option(s):
- To meet the long-term needs (30 years) of AFL and Cricket as well as Rugby and Soccer
- Which is (are) of equal / better standard and capacity to other national stadiums so as to enable Perth to compete for major national and international events (e.g. Bledisloe Cup etc.)
- With a range of facilities and services to meet the current and future needs of club members, corporates and the general public, and
- Of iconic status which is (are) nationally/internationally recognised as an outstanding sporting arena(s) and engenders local pride and enthusiasm
