Peel Sports FestThe inaugural Peel Sports Fest was a day of interactive activities and displays provided by a variety of local sporting and recreation groups, to promote participation and involvement in sport and recreation in the Peel Region.
All sport and recreation organisations from the Peel region were invited to provide an interactive display to promote their activity to the public.
The aim of the day was to ensure that the community continues to have access to a wide variety of sport and recreation programs and services.
Surfing Together
Surfing Together was a one-day event that provided an inclusive environment to encourage participation of people with disabilities.
The project aimed to encourage people in the general community to actively participate in recreational activities they would not usually take part in.
By improving beach accessibility and creating a fun and safe environment the project aimed to build the confidence of participants so they will continue to partake in similar activities in the future.
