Developing your strategy

Developing a strategy and action plan for your well-being program is important to identify why you want this program and what you want it to achieve.

This checklist can be used to provide a starting point for developing your strategies for your health and wellbeing program.

Action Plan

After you have gone through your checklist and discovered which areas you need to work on, you can use the action plan template to begin to explore some strategies within each of the five key areas.

For each strategy you implement, think about how you can influence the following:

  • Employee knowledge, attitude and skills
  • The social environment
  • The organisational culture
  • The community (including partnerships with external organisations and different sites or divisions of the workplace)
  • Organisational policies
